ASOCIACIÓN ESTUDIANTIL JUNIOR EMPRESA ATENEA (hereinafter, ATENEA) wishes to inform you about the use of cookies on its websites.

Cookies used for any of the following purposes are exempt from compliance with the obligations established in Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on information society services and electronic commerce, hereinafter LSSI:

• To allow only communication between the user’s device and the network.

• To strictly provide a service expressly requested by the user.

In this regard, the Article 29 Working Party in its Opinion 4/2012 (Opinion 4/2012 on the exemption from the consent requirement for Cookies, http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/article-29/documentation/opinion-reco mmendation/files/2012/wp194_es.pdf) it has interpreted that among the exempted cookies would be those that have the following purposes:

• “User input” cookies

• Authentication or user identification cookies (session only)

• User security cookies

• Media player session cookies

• Load balancing session cookies

• User interface customization cookies

• Plug-in cookies to share social content

Thus, it can be understood that these cookies are excluded from the scope of application of Article 22.2 of the LSSI, and therefore, it would not be necessary to inform or obtain consent regarding their use.
